Closures due to bad weather
Closures due to hot weather August 2026
All libraries are currently open as normal.
From time to time some of our libraries will need to be closed to protect the health and safety of our visitors and staff.
Due to continuing hot weather and ongoing Heat Health Alerts in place, to protect the welfare of both visitors to the library and our staff, some libraries may need to close early.
We monitor the situation on a daily basis and will add details of any closures if the situation changes.
For information on keeping safe and well during this hot spell please visit Heatwave advice - Surrey County Council
Apologies for any inconvenience and hope everyone stays safe and well at this time.
