Snow (スノー) is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Mario player with an Aegis secondary from Japan. He is considered one of the greatest Mario players of all time. He made his offline debut in 2022 and broke out onto the scene in early-2023, particularly during that year's Golden Week events. His results improved throughout the rest of the year, making his first major top 8 at Maesuma TOP 14, and was eventually ranked in the top 100. His results exploded in 2024, where he placed top 8 at numerous majors and even came close to winning several of them, including being the runner-up at Maesuma'GRAND WARS. Due to these performances, he was ranked among the top 20 that year, peaking at 18th on the LumiRank 2024.1, and was considered the best Mario player in the world. Subsequent seasons featured more mixed performances and lower attendance to focus on his academics, though he remained a top 50 player regardless.
Online, Snow regularly participates in Tamisuma tournaments, and has achieved a peak score of 2,406 on the 22nd season of Smashmate.
Playstyle[edit]

This article or section is incomplete. You can help SmashWiki by expanding or finishing it. The editor who added this tag elaborates: Needs more information on how he plays Pyra/Mythra too. |
Snow is a player that is known for his patient yet punish-focused playstyle. Unlike other Mario players like Kurama, who is known to go full-on aggressive and is reliant on combos to rack up damage and score early kills, or Dark Wizzy, who plays in a slower and more tolerant manner, Snow sits right in between, having both a flexible offensive game and a solid neutral game. He starts off patiently playing neutral and staying on stage, but once he finds a good opening, he will string his normals and either rack up good amounts of damage or set up for early KOs.

Trivia[edit]
- Snow is known to be very picky about the foods he eats, with notable examples including a dislike of bread products (e.g. burger buns) and eating a vast majority of his food without any kind of sauce.[1]
