The back of the Mjölnir is detailed with a mesh pattern, and the leather necklace can be opened up via an S-clip in the back for comfortable wear.
In Norse culture, Thor's hammer Mjölnir is an iconic weapon of the Nordic God of Thunder. By legends, this hammer was the most powerful weapon in existence, capable of leveling mountains with a single blow. Being one of the most prominent representations of Thor and his godly strength, the iconography of this weapon was widely popular amongst the Norse and was used widely for religious practices and rituals. Love the wieght and feel, but the clasp and the leather came appart on day one. I have glued it back together and so far so good. Just seems like i shouldn't have to super glue a nearly 200 dollar necklace on the first day.

As I already owned a Thor's Hammer amulet, I was initially a little apprehensive about purchasing this, and wasn't sure of the size (even though dimensions were provided on the site).
I still, however, decided to take the plunge and order. What an amazing product. High quality craftsmanship and materials. Lovely and solid, and the design is sublime. I am very proud of it and would think about ordering additional items.
Going forward, it might be worth including photographs of the item in someone's hand, or similar, so the customer can obtain a sense of size.
Great quality necklace but unhooks randomly wether it’s lying in bed or going on a rollercoaster ride it randomly comes off apart from that it’s great but it’s definitely a flaw and could lose it
Hi Paton, you can tighten the clasp at the back by squeezing it together to reduce the gap, which will help prevent the necklace from coming undone. If the necklace keeps opening on its own, it means the clasp is too loose, allowing the fastening to slip through easily.
I wish I had researched this item more. I thought I was purchasing something authenticly designed and made in Norway. I was disappointed to learn it was made in China. I also thought the box it came in could have been nicer. Balsam wood is very light and not durable. I also thought that the fact that it was engraved with the word “Viking” was tacky. Where was your branding it would have been much more tasteful to have “Norsegarde” engraved or burnt into the wood on the underside. Presentation is everything.
The hammer pendant and all the craftmanship was better than expected,,,really pleased with it. The only downside was the catch. This came undone when my son was wearing it and the pendant came off, Fortunately we noticed. We will be having it replaced with lobster claw catch

The fastening is poor and easily comes undone. It's dropped off my neck twice since I had it. Luckily I noticed both times but I suspect that at some point I'll lose it.
Hi Maurice, thank you for your feedback! You should be able to adjust the fastening clasp to make it more secure by pinching it closed. That should prevent the fastening loop from accidentally sliding off the clasp hook causing the necklace to open during wear.
