History[edit]
Donkey Kong franchise[edit]
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat[edit]
This section needs Donkey Kong franchise improvement. Specifically:
- Add gameplay details on Ninja Kong's battle
Ninja Kong is the ruler of the Durian Kingdom, which is the twelfth kingdom Donkey Kong ventures through. He is one of the most physically powerful of all Donkey Kong's enemies, making the battle against him more difficult than usual. Nevertheless, Donkey Kong still manages to defeat him and goes on to battle the evil Cactus King.
Ninja Kong later appears at the game's ending ceremony where he, along with the other Kong bosses, honors Donkey Kong's victory over the Ghastly King.
The in-game files refer to the character as "Miyamoto", in reference to Miyamoto Musashi, a wandering samurai warrior during the era of Japan's warring states.[1]
Donkey Kong Bananza[edit]
A statue of Ninja Kong was unlockable from an Emerald Rush event in Donkey Kong Bananza.[2] It was included in the third event, Dig the Beat, taking place in the Landfill Layer, and required accumulating 80,000 emeralds in a single run to unlock.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Ninja Kong appears as a Novice-class spirit of the primary type.
