Acquire Corp. is a Japanese video game development studio and subsidiary of Kadokawa Corporation based in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Founded on December 6, 1994, the studio is known for its Tenchu, Way of the Samurai, and Octopath Traveler series. In October 2024, Acquire was revealed to be the developer of Mario & Luigi: Brothership,[2] making it the company's first lead developed game based on a Nintendo franchise, as well as the first Mario & Luigi game not developed by AlphaDream, which filed for bankruptcy on October 1, 2019.[3] The company was previously a support studio on Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition.

Originally an independent company, Acquire was acquired by GungHo Online Entertainment in 2011,[4] who then sold it to Kadokawa in 2024.[5]
