We had a great time at the CX Circle events in New York and Stockholm this month with our partner Contentsquare. Both events brought together digital experience, UX, product, and CX leaders, and we had plenty of meaningful conversations at our booth. AI’s growing role in digital experiences was a hot topic, along with why understanding user behavior matters so much. Accessibility was a big part of that discussion too, especially how it helps teams build more inclusive and effective customer experiences. Erica W., Antoinette Esquerdo, Michelle McGowan, and Gavin Little were onsite connecting with attendees, building relationships, and highlighting how digital accessibility and digital experience work together. Thanks to the Contentsquare team for having us. We’re looking forward to what’s next! #A11y #CXCircle #Contentsquare

Can you share proof of product accessibility with clients? That's a competitive advantage. Esri needed to give buyers real evidence, not just a promise. By generating standardized Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs), they turned accessibility conformance into something they could show, not just say. The payoff? Smoother procurement conversations, stronger client confidence, and a development team that catches accessibility issues earlier instead of later. Are your accessibility requirements scattered across multiple tools, documented inconsistently, or left out altogether? What humans can infer from context, machines often cannot. The result? Accessibility risks become automation risks. This week at a11yTO - Accessibility Toronto, Karen Hawkins, CPACC will examine how designers can prepare their design files for an AI-assisted future. She’ll cover: → Best practices for structuring design files to improve machine readability → Why accessibility information needs to be structured for machine consumption, not just human interpretation → Which accessibility requirements should be documented, and where they should live Stay tuned for our post-event takeaways! #a11yTO #DigitalAccessibility #A11y

Nothing makes our day like two of our own rallying around the same cause. 💜 Nat Tarnoff and Dana Randall offer an important reminder about why website animation is an accessibility issue, and why it deserves more attention from designers and developers.
A website header just canceled my recording session. I clicked a link this morning. Flashing animation triggered a migraine, blurry vision, and spots in my vision. The podcast introduction I planned to record today will have to wait. I can’t tolerate the studio lights. I’ve already spoken with the founder. They listened and committed to fixing it. I appreciate that, and I’m keeping them anonymous. But I’m still pissed. 🤬 At Level Access, I talk about accessibility professionally. Today, I’m writing about what it costs personally when it’s overlooked. This article covers how website motion can cause physical harm, why a pause button isn’t always enough, and what creative teams need to build into their process—including the AI skills generating these experiences. If you design, build, commission, or approve websites, please read this. 👇 A website shouldn’t hurt. #DigitalAccessibility #InclusiveDesign #WebDesign #MotionDesign #AI

“AI is building the digital world faster than any team can manually audit for accessibility, and that exposure compounds with every release,” said Mark Zablan, Chief Executive Officer of Level Access. “Whether a product is truly accessible, and whether organizations can show the evidence, is now a question buyers, regulators, and customers are all asking.” The Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Accessibility Platforms is out now. AI gives teams velocity. Human judgment turns that velocity into value. Our Chief Product Officer Andrew Chung explains how to bring accessibility expertise into every stage of AI-assisted delivery, so you can move fast while building experiences that work for everyone. #DigitalAccessibility #AI #WCAG #Accessibility
When we asked 2,500+ professionals where AI has sped up their work, 61% said design and 58% said planning. Only 30% said quality assurance (QA) and testing. We're building faster. Very few of us are checking faster. As a product leader, I feel that tension every day. AI helps us ship in far less time, but it learned from a web where accessibility failures are already widespread. And it’s replicating those issues at an unprecedented speed and scale. The answer isn't to slow down. It's to build judgment and expertise it into the three moments where accessibility either keeps up or falls behind: finding issues, fixing them, and proving impact. I wrote about what that means in practice and where we're focusing our product work at Level Access. I'm curious how your teams are handling this. #DigitalAccessibility #AI #ProductManagement #Accessibility

72% of U.S. organizations we surveyed faced accessibility-related legal action this past year, up from 53% last year. That jump is one of the sharper findings from our Eighth Annual State of Digital Accessibility Report, and it's driven mainly by private-sector activity. Nearly half of professionals expect legal or regulatory action in the year ahead, and most point to their industry and brand profile as the reason, not gaps in their own accessibility practices. This is just one finding. Get the full report to find out what else the data reveals: https://lnkd.in/eHCs-Z7A #DigitalAccessibility #A11y #SODAR
