Bournemouth West MP Jessica Toale is hosting three community safety events.

These 'Safer Communities' events on Friday, October 31, will give residents a chance to discuss neighbourhood safety concerns with Ms Toale, police and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council's anti-social behaviour team.

The events will focus on issues raised by residents, such as anti-social behaviour, drug dealing, and tool theft.

Since her election, Ms Toale has prioritised crime and policing, regularly raising concerns in Parliament about police funding and working alongside Dorset Police and BCP Council to tackle anti-social behaviour.

This summer, she played a role in securing additional police funding from the government's Safer Streets initiative, which increased the visible police presence in Bournemouth town centre and Winton's Wimborne Road.

Ms Toale said: "Many residents have told me they're worried about safety in their neighbourhoods.

"I've been working closely with Dorset Police and BCP Council on these issues, but it's vital that we hear directly from you.

"These events are a chance for us to share what's being done, but more importantly, to listen to your concerns and work together on solutions."

The sessions, which require advance registration, will be held at various locations across Bournemouth West.
