Logo (1984-1986)

Visuals: On a blue background, the logo of a film camera zooms in; revealing a cosmic background (stock footage from some slit-scan demo reel). On it, the word "VIDEOCAST" zooms in from the center in a bold blue font, followed by the words "apresenta uma seleção" in yellow lowercase font. The film camera logo then zooms out a little, and a copyright warning text scrolls left underneath it: "De acôrdo com as leis federais, esta gravação está protegida por direitos autorais, sendo expressamente proibida sua duplicação, regravação, copiagem e exibições públicas, ficando os infratores sujeitos ás penalidades previstas em legislação."

Variant: Some releases will display the Poletel logo in blue, overlaid in the stock footage.

Technique: A mixture of scanimation and Chyron.

Audio: An orchestral tune, accompanied by a narrator saying: "Videocast apresenta..."

Audio Variant: Variants with the Poletel logo also include a extra narration "Uma seleção Poletel!".
