Regarding PBS station names.

How bad is it that I have to change the name on the PBS stations to match the article name on Wikipedia? It's why some of them have "-TV" in it because it matches the Wikipedia article name. I done this too when working on two PBS stations WBGU-TV and KAMU-TV. It’s also why WNET is not Thirteen PBS because I'm going off of the wikipedia article and not the branded name. I thought that it was so that it could be more general, also Wikipedia ain't the only source for info about stations.

Also noting that I didn’t mean any harm by doing this, I went with their branding name bcuz it's stated without "-TV" prefixes on their website.

Ye, PBS section rly needs to be edited. As said before, I thought the without "-TV" prefixes fit better to them.

Adding to this, if we were to retain the "-TV" suffix on some PBS pages we would have to apply it to every one of them. I feel it would be better to just name them to how the station is branded. "KSPS-TV" is known as just KSPS on air, so that is what the page should be called. Theboi1 (talk) 17:19, May 30, 2026 (UTC)

Regarding a section you have added in mainspace

Hello, SquidBoxer. Please don't publish blank or otherwise unfinished sections to mainspace articles as you did with PBS North Carolina, as we don't desire such additions for quality control reasons. In the future, please work on any unfinished sections in draftspace. Make sure it features the name of the page and section name. Link it within the {{DraftSection}} template at the top of the main page so that others can help out. You may also use your provided sandbox, which you may find in the dropdown menu located next to your username on the top bar. Thank you! In addition, please do not redirect sections for convenience. I am not on PC atm so this is kinda hard for me (esp for a mobile/tablet user), especially for long edits atm. But I will be adding a sandbox after I can edit much faster on PC, thank you for the advice as well.

I left a message on Discord already specifying if it's not allowed you can revert it on the proposals channel (deleted atm, will show proof that I said this) so just reply me on there hence it says on my bio, much appreciated for that.

Also, I want people not to add parantheses on the pages, a wee bit late on that and it's partly my fault but I want to fix it.
