Multinational Video Inc.

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Multinational Video Inc. was supposedly an off-shoot label belonging to Spain Films Commission S.A..

Logo (1987)

Visuals: From a gray-ish navy starfield with hot pink/dodger blue nebulas in between, an individual line-up of shooting "lasers" colored green, blue, red and magenta, zoom out from four random corners. Upon finishing, one at a time, the lasers shoot out of their places and summon colorful chroma-keyed "explosions", which reveals one half of "MULTINATIONAL", until another laser shoots out to the next corresponding corner, completing it with the other half. However, one laser isn't shown after this section, which has the explosion abruptly appear, revealing "VIDEO". Another laser shoots out to the last corner, completing it with "INC.", reading it as "MULTINATIONAL VIDEO INC". Seconds later, the text fades with "PRESENTA" fading in place underneath.

Technique: Practical effects.

Audio: A set of warped-out "laser" zaps and explosion SFX, which all synchronize with the logo's animation. Quiet electronic sounds can be heard in the background. Upon completion, a sudden, dramatic sci-fi brass fanfare, including violins and a bell toll, is heard, also heard in the International Television Distributors of Italy logo.
