Logo (1985)

Visuals: Over a black background, two golden diagonal lines are shown being wiped in by sparks whilst sliding in and curling up into a ring, along with the sparks following their movement. An orange burst then occurs, followed by the scenery cutting to three blue-tinted spark explosions as the white text "MACHINE video" flies into the view from the bottom right, along with a segmented silver rectangle containing the stacked diagonal red "MV" initials inside flying in from the top right, settling at the left of the said text. As the background freezes and fades out, the logo and the text fly away respectively.

Variant: Sometimes, the background is different: once the spark explosion footage is played, it is cut to a spinning blue wireframe globe with a shining outline. Once the footage freezes, the logo flies in from the bottom right and settles at the top left, with the text flying in from the said portion also.

Technique: Computer graphics.

Audio: "Voyager" by The Alan Parsons Project.
