Jayanthi Films
Jayanthi Films was a Madurai-based film production company from India founded in 1957.[1]
Visuals: On a black background, there is a dark object with a red light behind it. It turns clockwise, facing the screen. It then lightens up during that, revealing a connected red "JF" that is 3D with two horses galloping and two dancers. Below it is a pedestal in red with a stacked, sans-serif text "JAYANTHI FILMS (MADURAI) PRIVATE LTD" in white.
Variant: A different logo was used in Anbu Sagodharargal. Here, the logo is animated similarly to the regular logo, but the camera is shot at a higher angle, and the "JF" and the company name have a shiny effect, where the said company name this time reads "JAYANTHI FILMS". The sequence is also shorter and in B&W.
Technique: Live-action model work and practical effects.
Audio: A triumphant horn fanfare.
Audio Variants:
- The Anbu Sagodharargal version has the other half of the fanfare cut off.
- On Adhikari, the new soundtrack starts with a peaceful bansuri melody with a faint xylophone accompaniment, which then quickly transitions to a bombastic, rising 9-note orchestral stinger with a loud brass finish.
