Logo (2005-)

Visuals: The sequence starts on a changing orange and purple background, where some ghostly letters slowly move. Several bright letters appear and begin swirling in the screen, emitting light, and finally form blue "eagle vision". In the same time background loses color and the glowing banner appears in the very center, zooming and becoming blue. The banner is generally oval and shiny, but has the orange beak and the deep cuts on the left, depicting the symbolic eagle. The name poses below it.

Variants:

  • On Blu-ray releases, the letters do not zoom under the eagle, but rather fly right onto the HD mark with a turquoise crescent next to them.
  • A still version exists, in which the logo simply fades in on a black background.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An active soft rock tune.

Availability:

  • Seen on music DVD and Blu-ray releases released by Eagle Rock.
  • The still version is seen at the end of Monty Python’s Flying Circus and other Python-related material on Netflix.
