The Centre for Humanitarian Leadership, in collaboration with the Office of Research at the American University of Beirut, has launched a new network to support the connection of Lebanese diaspora working on academic research and local research colleagues

Proudly co-founded and co-conceptualised by the Centre for Humanitarian Leadership (CHL) at Deakin University, Australia, and the Office of Research at the American University of Beirut (AUB), D4R: Lebanon is the first of a series of diaspora research entworks that are currently being established for a range of crisis-affected and post-conflict settings.

Tailored to the Lebanese context, the purpose of the network is to convene diaspora academic research experts from across the globe with those in Lebanon, and facilitate connetions and collaborations to help support in-country colleagues during and in the aftermath of Lebanon's multiple crises. Equally, diaspora will also benefit from the expertise, engagement, and lived experience of colleagues in Lebanon.

We invite Lebanese diaspora members working in any relevant area, and researchers based in Lebanon, to register to join this emerging network. Relevant colleagues of all levels are welcome, and senior experts are particularly urged to connect.
