    Short summary

    [edit | edit source]

Yūma and Osamu are walking away from the site of the Neighbor attack when Miwa and Yōsuke arrive, wondering what happened.

    Long summary

    [edit | edit source]

Two A-rank agents from the #7 A-Rank Squad arrive to the scene after the Neighbor was destroyed. Yoneya comments on the damage, saying it must be someone from A-Rank to which Miwa agrees with; however, their operator tells him that there was no squads who arrived before them. Confused, Miwa asks who could of done it.

Meanwhile, Osamu runs after Yūma and asks what he means when he says he is a Neighbor, as he thinks they are the giant things. Yūma explains that those are trion soldiers, and that real Neighbors are people just like him and Osamu, before clarifying he has nothing to do with the attacks on the city. Osamu accuses him of lying, and he realizes things are different than his father told him, so he quickly tells Osamu to forget everything he said. Osamu is suspicious, but Yūma then says he is hungry, and makes a scene by pulling out a huge stack of bills. Osamu drags him away to quieter part of the city and warns him about causing trouble. They are confronted by a man asking for money for "breaking his leg", and Yūma actually breaks the man's legs before giving him the money. Osamu scolds him, but Yūma responds with his own logic, then tries to go get food. Osamu fetches it for him, and while Yūma is waiting, he is confronted by another group of men who lie in order to try and get money from him. Yūma beats them up, and when Osamu returns, he assures him he did not break their bones. Despite this, Osamu tells him is too violent and he should not use violence to solve his problems. Yūma is confused by Japanese laws and customs, and requests Osamu teaches him the ways of Japan. Osamu realizes that for all of Yūma's crazy behaviour, he does understand his situation and is seeking to learn, so he accepts Yūma's request.

Not paying attention, Yūma step out into the road and gets hit by a car. Osamu and the driver freak out, but Yūma is fine, and his injury heals instantly before Osamu's eyes. He realizes that Yūma is not a bad guy, but he truly is a Neighbour.
