Smol Launch runs a new launch period every week, Monday to Sunday, and your first launch of a product is free in any of them; relaunches use the paid options. The paid options here don't replace the free launch; they add to it. Premium includes a permanent, high-authority backlink with no badge to install or verify. Launch Everywhere distributes one product across the active directories. The Maker Pass covers a year of launches. A Featured Spot buys homepage visibility. Premium+ adds a one-week Featured Spot and a newsletter feature to a Premium launch. Newsletter Sponsorship is a different product: it buys the sole sponsor position above one weekly winners list. This page puts them side by side so you can compare before you submit.

A Premium launch ($19) is a normal ranked launch with two extras: a permanent, high-authority backlink to your site — no badge to install or verify — and the flexibility to launch any week instead of waiting for a free slot. Verification is what makes a listing count: it confirms you control the site, so an established domain can vouch for a newer product, which helps search engines trust it sooner.

Every product you launch this year upgrades to Premium automatically, and you also get priority review, a verified maker badge on your profile, and 2× karma across the site. It pays for itself at about 6 launches a year. Launch less than that and paying $19 per launch is cheaper.
Featured Spot vs. a Premium launch
It's worth keeping these two apart. A Premium launch is a ranked entry that climbs the weekly board on votes and engagement. A Featured Spot (from $19/week) is an ad: a featured placement you pay for directly, outside the ranking, with a sponsored link. Premium+ bundles both: the launch runs first, then the included one-week Featured Spot runs in the first available week after your launch week, and your newsletter feature follows in the weekly roundup after that spot runs.
