SS Mega Dunia Sega
From Sega Retro
SS Mega Dunia Sega (also known as SS Megadunia Sega, SS Megaworld Sega, SS Mega World Sega, SS Megaworld Family Techno-Game Center and SS Mega Dunia Family Techno-Game Center) was a chain of game centers opened across Indonesia.
The chain was a joint venture between Overseas Amusement Machine Sega Enterprises Ltd. with MRA Group subsidiary Citra Pramudita International.[1] Citra Pramudita International was established in 1993.[2]
Some venues had mid-size and large attractions such as the AS-1 and VR-1. Rail Chase: The Ride[3], Ghost Hunters[4] and Mad Bazooka[5] were trademarked in 1995 though it's unconfirmed if said attractions were ever installed and in operation.

History
The first SS Mega Dunia Sega was opened on 7 August 1994[6] at Plaza Bintaro Jaya, with Plaza Barito, Plaza Bandung Indah, Plaza Tunjungan, Mal Malioboro and Plaza Balikpapan following suit by September 1995.[7]
The chain existed between 1994 and the mid-2000s, with 14 venues being opened by 2001.[8] Venues were being opened in (then) middle-upper class shopping centers such as Plaza Indonesia, Plaza Senayan, and Plaza Hongkong.
SS Mega Dunia Sega venues were targeted towards young families and young adults. At one point, a "gamepark" concept was considered by President Director of Citra Pramudita International Adiguna Sutowo, with visitors being charged fees on entry.[9]
Token prices for SS Mega Dunia Sega ranged around Rp.500 to Rp.1.500 in 1994.[9] SS Mega Dunia Sega also introduced rechargeable cards in early 1995 for Rp.2.500[1] though it's unknown how long the program lasted.
Numerous officially licensed competitions were held during the SS Mega Dunia Sega's existence.
