Clean pause
When paused, press
+
+
to hide the pause text and "Press L and R Button to PAUSE OPTION" message.
Strictly speaking the pause in Gunbird isn't "clean". To simulate transparency effects, sprites are turned on and off per frame, relying on screen image persistance, and this effect does not stop when paused. However, if attempting to take a screenshot from a CRT television (as was often the reason for clean pause features), the image will look as intended.
