GameWorks Studio Universal City was an American GameWorks Studio entertainment center opened by Sega GameWorks.

History

This location was built directly inside Universal Studios Hollywood, most likely due to the Universal Studios' direct involvement with the creation of GameWorks as well as Sega Gameworks' offices being on the same property. This location, as well as GameWorks Studio Orlando, would be the only GameWorks or GameWorks Studio locations in a Universal Studios theme park. Some time between the later half of February and early May 2006, GameWorks Studio Universal City would be rebranded into a generic arcade[2][3], two years after Universal Studios left the company due to Sega GameWorks' bankrupty. That arcade would later close, becoming a Starbucks in mid 2014[4][5].
