Defcon 5 (デフコン５) is an action game for the Sega Saturn. It is a first person shooter-adventure hybrid with many pre-rendered full motion video cutscenes.

History

Development

Development began in June 1994, concurrently with the IBM PC version and other formats^[9].

For its Japanese release, publisher Multisoft may have wanted to call the game Incoming (インカミング)^[10] before changing its mind. During development the game was known as Defcon 0.
