Angelique Duet (アンジェリーク デュエット) is a life simulation game for the Sega Saturn, and forms part of the Angelique series of games targeted at women. The game is based on Angelique Special, albeit with the option of playing as the normal protagonist or her rival (hence the name Duet).

Story
The power of the queen who rules over the universe is beginning to wane, and the universe is in danger of destruction. A trial begins to choose the next queen. Players take the role of a candidate in the trial (either Angelique Limoges, or her rival Rosalia), and compete to become the next queen. The game takes place on a magical floating island known as the Holy Land.
Gameplay
Angelique Duet is a life simulation game, with the player determining the protagonist's schedule, which is limited by the need to rest and take breaks. At the start of the game, the player has the option of changing the protagonist's name, zodiac sign, and background. The player's primary responsibility is to nurture relationships with the queen's Sacred Guardians in order to win votes. While the player is presented with the goal of becoming the next queen, they are free to either peruse it, or ignore it and peruse a romantic relationship instead.
The sign chosen at the start of the game determines an affinity to a specific Sacred Guardian. The Sacred Guardians have the ability to grant gifts to the protagonist's lands and rescind gifts from their rival's lands. Periodically, the current reigning queen will rate the player's performance versus their rival, which is judged by the current population of their land and their relationships with the Sacred Guardians.
