About Zach Moser

Zach Moser has been writing for ScreenRant since 2022, covering movies, classic TV, and streaming TV. His areas of expertise cover a wide range of genres with a particular interest in horror and drama, and the conversations around the TV and film industry. When he's not covering the latest film releases or chronicling the latest season of a new show, he's writing humor pieces for McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Slackjaw, and Points In Case or working on short stories and his second novel.

Industry Focus

Zach's writing at Screen Rant focuses on upcoming television shows and movies and the news surrounding them. He also often writes about the careers of actors and directors across every genre. Zach particularly enjoys analyzing the careers of actors and directors and understanding how their craft changes over the years.

Favorite Media

Zach enjoys horror most of all, but is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to genre and has favorite movies and directors across a broad spectrum. Zach's favorite movies include Jaws, Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pan's Labyrinth, Jurassic Park (and secretly The Lost World), The Irishman, The Thing, Spirited Away, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It may be easier to say what movies Zach doesn't like, one of which would be The Devil Inside, a movie that Zach believes he still deserves a refund for.

Zach's favorite TV shows include The Leftovers, Mrs. Davis, The Office, Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, True Detective, The Night Of, Midnight Mass, and Arthur (the Aardvark).
