While repology tries its best in matching packages across different repositories, this is quite a complex task:
- Packages of a single software project may be named differently in some repositories (for instance, libagg vs. agg, dungeoncrawl vs. dungeon-crawl, fonts-linuxlibertine vs. fonts-ttf-linuxlibertine vs. linux-libertine-fonts vs. linuxlibertine-fonts-ttf).
- There may be multiple unrelated software projects with a same name (for instance, clementine is both X11 window manager and a media player).
- Some packages may use incorrect versions (for instance, picking "next" version number which was not released yet when packaging a git snapshot, or using dates and commit hashes instead of version numbers).
Repology uses a set of manually edited rules to resolve these cases. You may submit a change to the ruleset directly or use this form to suggest an improvement to the ruleset. Please only use this for problems which may be fixed by the ruleset (which are basically problems listed above).

Hi. So Mozilla now has some form of clarity. At https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/all/, selecting the "Thunderbird Release" (currently 132.0.1) channel shows a message "Thunderbird Release is available for testing purposes only until releases are deemed stable enough for official support. Make sure you backup important data regularly!".
Then the ESR version (currently 128.4.3) should be marked as the actual stable?
Also, there are many legacy versions in repology that should all be removed?

Product Details feed says 115.12.2: https://product-details.mozilla.org/1.0/thunderbird_versions.json
Thunderbird download page takes you to 115.12.2: https://www.thunderbird.net/en-GB/thunderbird/all/
What's there to clarify? 127.0 was not officially released.
- Repology reply:
Clarification is when a project member explains the situation.

Ah actually 127 is beta release, so should be marked devel? https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/127.0beta/releasenotes/
- Repology reply:
Mozilla must clarify this. According to https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/ there were five 127bN releases, followed by 127 without `b` suffix, which in my eyes suggest it's no longer beta. It may be that NNN.0 is considered beta too, but I'd like to know for sure.

As per https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/releases/, latest release is 115.12.2. Not sure how KaOS or Slackware are getting version 127.0.

Latest stable release is 102.0.3:
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/
Listed as latest, 102.1.0 is only an unstable Release Candidate

at the time of this writing, 68.8.0 is a release candidate, but freebsd is using the release versioning. Perhaps FreeBSD should be ignored by rule (similar to what they do with firefox)
