A punching bag stand lets you hang a heavy bag anywhere you have floor space, with no drilling into a ceiling or a wall. When you do have a solid joist or wall, a mount takes up less room. We make both, from a single heavy bag stand to an 8-station rack for gyms, and every one is made in USA.
Choose your stand
- Single bag stand: one heavy bag of any size up to 450 lb, 7.8 ft tall, with a 7-screw assembly.
- Double stand with speed bag platform: a heavy bag up to 450 lb plus a speed bag platform with a professional swivel and all the hardware, 7.8 ft tall.
- T double stand: two heavy bags at once on 11 gauge steel tubing, holding 750 lb, 7.5 ft tall, with or without an adjustable-height speed bag platform.
- Triple stand: three heavy bags at once, holding 750 lb, 7.5 ft tall, with or without a speed bag station.
- 8-station stand: up to eight heavy bags or double end bags for eight athletes at once; 12 ft long, 6 ft wide and 8 ft tall, on powder-coated 4 × 2 in steel posts, about 365 lb without bags.
Keep it steady
Weigh the legs down with sand bags: the single and double stands take four, and the T double and triple stands eight, about 50 lb each when filled. The stands' sand bags ship unfilled for you to fill with sand; our 55 lb sand bag ships filled. The T double and triple stands can also be bolted to the floor (hardware not included).
Or mount it
- Ceiling mount: forged industrial steel with twin bearings, so the bag swivels without twisting the straps; two 2.5 × 3/8 in lag bolts for wood ceiling joists; holds bags up to 250 lb.
- Wall mount: a 38 in arm, so you can move all the way around the bag; for wood stud or filled masonry walls, with mounting holes 16 in apart; holds bags up to 500 lb with proper installation.
Vinyl heavy bags hang on a nylon strap and a carabiner, never a chain. Our guide on how to hang a heavy bag covers stands, mounts and hardware, and the speed bag guide covers the speed bag stations.
