Jailer 2 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Anirudh Ravichander gave us unshakeable songs like “Kaavaalaa” for 2023 movie Jailer, starring actor Rajinikanth, so it’s no surprise that the movie’s 2026 sequel is also bursting with heroic swagger and potential hits, thanks to the iconic composer. There are grooves galore on “One Sun One Moon”, while rapper Thamizh Aadhavan delivers with cheeky songs like “Veramaari” and “Putaapu Gang”. There’s a smattering of Hindi on the clubby “Bindaas” and Shankar Mahadevan serves a spirited perspective on letting go in the sitar-inflected “Netru Ponavai”. Jailer 2 is packed with heartfelt and heady moments.
