[edit source]This article should be updated where it includes information about Redstone where Hoppers interact with Shelves by feeding items into it by being placed on the back side or on top of the Shelf (possibly even on left and right sides of the Shelf, but I'm not sure) and can pull items out of Shelves when placed below the Shelf.
- Information was gathered from the most current Java version (25w31a) that released earlier today and is currently not in the latest Minecraft Preview as of yet.

[edit source]A response to the previous comment I made about Hoppers and Shelves from yesterday:
In my last sentence, I noted that that this Information I gathered in 25w31a and was not currently in the latest preview (1.21.110.20) as of yet.
Now in the latest up to date preview, 1.21.110.22, Hoppers and Shelves now do interact with each other like they do in Java Edition. The changelog for this preview (1.21.110.22) does state that "Hoppers and Droppers can now add or remove items to/from the Shelf" under Blocks (from https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/38434933991821-Minecraft-Beta-Preview-1-21-110-22). I do hope that is stated on the wiki at some point under Redstone like I said yesterday. That's all I have to say.
