A Suction Spiral (Japanese: 吸引ミキサー, Hepburn: Kyūin Mikisā^?) is a powerful handheld fan created by Nico White using the Imagination Mod Power in Minecraft: The Manga.

Appearance

A Suction Spiral is a small device with grooved edges. It has a fan at its center, opposite where it is held by the user.

Functionality

When placed with its fan on the ground, a Suction Spiral begins sucking through its fan. The absorption of the ground through the fan causes the ground to shift in a large, whirlpool-like spiral, trapping those around the user in the accelerating ground. Nico calls this technique Sandfall (大流砂, Dai Ryūsa^?).

History

While traversing the desert, Nico's party and Sapphire were attacked by a horse of husks. Quickly overwhelmed, Nico crafted a Suction Spiral, which he used to create a sand whirlpool to slow and trap the approaching monsters and allow Sapphire to defeat them with her Giant Pickaxe.
