Shapes is a joke biome exclusive to Java Edition 20w14∞.

Description

The biome consists of a somewhat mountainous terrain and rivers. No mobs spawn.

Various geometric figures appear frequently in world generation. These shapes vary in size, usually between 5 and 30 blocks across a single axis, and are made out of dyable blocks. Most shapes features only one type of block, with the rest featuring a different color on every diagonal strip of blocks. Generated shapes include spheres, cubes, and octahedrons. Pink glazed terracotta octahedrons appear commonly, accounting for roughly one quarter of generated shapes. Shapes may overlap on occasion.

Issues

Issues relating to "Shapes" are not maintained on the bug tracker because it is an April Fools' joke, and is therefore not in the newest stable version or snapshot. Issues reported there are closed as "Invalid".
