Coal is a resource primarily found in badlands and meadows used to create offensive structures and units such as scatter towers and creepers.

Obtaining

[edit | edit source]

Gathering

[edit | edit source]
A vein of coal in a meadow.

Only once the gather coal improvement has been built at an improvement hub, coal can be gathered by using a gather allay near a coal vein, which can generate in badlands and meadows. When gathering, the gather allay will fill up the player's coal storage until either the storage capacity is reached or all coal within the gather allay's gathering radius has been obtained.

25 coal is automatically granted to players when they build the gather coal improvement.

Players passively receive 15 coal every minute if they have built the large gather coal improvement at an improvement hub.

In a Custom Game, the amount of coal veins that generate throughout the world can be increased or decreased during world generation. Once the world has been created, this setting cannot be changed again.

Chests

[edit | edit source]

Once the gather coal improvement has been built, coal has a chance to be obtained by opening village chests in meadow villages. Allay chests that have generated in badlands and meadows also have a chance of containing coal.

Capacity

[edit | edit source]

The amount of coal that can be stored at one time is limited. The maximum coal capacity is increased every time a gather coal improvement is built.

Notes

[edit | edit source]
  1. ↑ This is considered misinformation, as coal veins do not spawn in jagged peaks.
  2. ↑ This is considered misinformation, as kaboomeries do not launch arrows on their own.
