A sprout is a support hostile sifter mob found in the Sift.
Spawning
[edit | edit source]Sprouts spawn on the surface of the Sift.
Behavior
[edit | edit source]Sprouts are described as glowing turquoise when aggressive and attacking with their tentacles.[1] They are support mobs that stay near their allies to buff them.
Buff
[edit | edit source]The sprout charges and retracts its tendrils before releasing a beam to a nearby enemy, buffing them and increasing their speed, damage and HP, alongside incredibly potent life regeneration. The buffed mob will rapidly flash shades of yellow. The sprout becomes immobile and starts rapidly flashing different hues of color while casting this beam. When hit, this beam is cancelled and the buffed mobs will return to their original state. The sprout's buffing prioritizes pollinators.
Whip
[edit | edit source]When there aren't any sifters to buff in its vicinity, the sprout will perform a basic melee attack by whipping its tentacles. It can also do this attack instead of buffing, even if sifters are present.
Enrage
[edit | edit source]Upon death, they "enrage" nearby sifters, permanently buffing their speed, damage and HP. This includes other sprouts and harmonizers in the area.
