A rift, also called a dimensional rift,[1] is a tear in space that goes between the Sift and the Overworld, created by the Grand Illusioner using their staff.

Behavior

[edit | edit source]

Rifts are temporary portals leading to and from the Sift. They are utilized by the High Council to transport troops throughout the Overworld, attacking villages remotely. Entering them in-game will behave similar to a dungeon, taking players to a small closed-off section of the Sift.

Quotes

The chamber was flooded with bright light emanating from a hole in space — a rift in the world. Light shifted through a rainbow of colors around the edges, and within was a place I'd never seen before.
