A monarch is a sculker boss found in the Sift. It is the leader of sculkers, always found in sculker nests, where it summons other sculkers to help it in battle.

Monarchs are leaders to the sculkers, residing in sculker nests as they rule over other sculkers. Monarchs are implied to be the top of the Sift's ecosystem. With the illagers invading the Sift, harvesting ichor and capturing tuners, started stirring a sculker monarch along with other sculkers. The heroes fight a monarch in a sculker nest to take the ichor cores it took from the illagers.

Spawning

[edit | edit source]

A monarch is fought during the Wrath of the Sculkers quest, within a sculker nest in the ravines. The monarch does not have a revive quest, Instead, it respawns when the world is reset. Monarchs can also spawn in ravine dungeons.

The monarch is a tall enemy that strides slowly through its arena. Successful melee attacks on heroes will heal the monarch.

[edit | edit source]

The monarch reels its right arm back before lunging forward in a twirling slash, dealing damage as it moves. After five seconds, several feather projectiles form along its dash path, flying towards a nearby hero.

Hover loop

[edit | edit source]

The monarch reels its left arm back, proceeding to rapidly spin toward a hero to deal damage. Afterwards, eight feathers form in the circle of its spin, flying into heroes after five seconds.
