Dungeons II:Blue Creeper Battle

Artwork of heroes facing the Blue Creeper

The Blue Creeper Battle was a promotional event taking place on September 17, 2026 in-person at the Tokyo Game Show in Makuhari Messe, online through YouTube, and in Bedrock Edition worlds.

The premise of the event is that the Illager High Council is opening rifts to the real world from the Sift, and sending in soul corrupted mobs to attack. Their first attack wave is at the Tokyo Game Show, where they summoned a colossal Blue Creeper. Participants need to fight to make sure their "greed" does not spread beyond the city, with the "fate of the world" resting in their hands.

One million Corrupted Creeper Cape codes were made available online in part to "celebrate" the Tokyo Game Show.

Participation

Participants can battle in-person by choosing a weapon at the Minecraft Dungeons II booth of the Tokyo Game Show to "inflict damage" on the Blue Creeper. On Bedrock Edition, participants can contribute by killing creepers in-game to weaken the giant Blue Creeper. On YouTube, participants can use a "special Minecraft effect" to "record and share your own adventure."
