With Organize Photos you can reorganize your photo collection (and other files, e.g. movies) into directories by the date in which they were taken. Simply take photos and make videos with your camera, transfer to your computer, and then use Organize Photos to create a date-based directory structure.
This project is basically a personal script used to organize my own photos. Further development is possible, if you're interested in new features contact me.
