DioNanos
If you run Codex, Gemini CLI or Qwen Code on your phone, that works because
someone rebuilds them for the platforms vendors deprioritize: Termux on
Android ARM64, musl libc, low-RAM devices. That someone is me.
The forks track upstream closely, with narrow Android compatibility patches
and prebuilt native binaries packaged for npm and Termux — usually within
days of an upstream release. Alongside the forks I build a Rust-first MCP
server stack (memory, retrieval, webfetch, email, voice) and a small set of
original CLIs and libraries.
Sponsorship buys maintainer time: release engineering, security maintenance,
upstream rebases, and the compatibility work that does not show up in commit
messages but keeps the toolchain alive between phone upgrades and OS updates.
No obligation and no pressure — but if these tools save you an hour a week,
a tier below costs less than that hour.
