- Open the interactive map. Choose a continent or pole, enter coordinates, or drag to set the view.
- Select Natural Earth II, NASA Blue Marble, or Atlas. Turn on borders and place names if you want them in the image.
- Use the download button to save a transparent 4K PNG of the current map.
The Equal Earth projection preserves relative areas, making it useful for comparing the sizes of countries and continents. Shapes are still distorted, as on every flat world map. This project is an independent interactive viewer of that projection.
- Free rotation — drag, tilt, and roll the map around any point.
- Synchronized globe — explore the same orientation in flat and spherical views.
- Map styles — Natural Earth II, NASA Blue Marble, and Atlas, a country-colored map at 8192 × 4096 resolution.
- Borders and names — toggle national boundaries and upright country/capital labels together on any map style.
- Mouse, touch, and keyboard — rotate either view; zoom the flat map independently.
