v1.76.0-beta.10418.ce5351c52

What problem are you trying to solve?

Abrha Storage by ParsPack provides an S3-compatible API, but it is not available in rclone’s S3 provider list. Users must manually configure provider-specific settings. Abrha also rejects HeadBucket and CreateBucket for panel-issued keys, even though those keys can read and write objects.

How do you think rclone should be changed to solve that?

Add Abrha Storage as an S3 provider with path-style addressing, List API version 1, and bucket existence checks disabled by default. Also add configuration documentation explaining its per-space endpoints and that buckets must be created through the Abrha Storage panel.

Getting involved

  • I'm willing to help implement, test or fund this feature.

I opened a draft PR with the proposed implementation: #9969.
It adds Abrha Storage to the S3 provider list, applies the required provider defaults, and includes configuration documentation and a unit test. Feedback on the approach is welcome before I finalize the integration testing.
