The .deb package lists these dependencies:
Depends: libasound2t64, libpng16-16t64, ...
The t64 names only exist on Debian 13 (Trixie) and Ubuntu 24.04 or newer.
Debian renamed these packages for the 64-bit time_t change.
Older systems use the names libasound2 and libpng16-16. They cannot find the t64 names, so the install stops.
The DEB build runs on ubuntu-26.04 (see .github/workflows/nightly.yml). The jpackage reads the dependency names from the build machine and as the build machine is new, so it writes the new names.
