I document small JAX correctness investigations in JAX reliability notes: keyword forwarding in reusable autodiff and means over uneven replica groups. The material includes runnable CPU examples before and after the fixes, regression-test evidence, and a short technical-session outline.
I added generalized Hermitian eigenproblems to jax.scipy.linalg.eigh in #41162, merged on 1 October 2026. The implementation uses Cholesky reduction and supports broadcast batch dimensions, JIT, vmap, and differentiation, with tests against SciPy and the defining eigenproblem.
My keyword-forwarding fix in #41156 also merged on 1 October. The extension to type-2/type-3 generalized eigenproblems #41197 merged on 2 October. The uneven-replica-group fix #41157 remains open for upstream review.
I prepared a generalized-eigh CPU lab with SciPy references, numerical identities, JIT/vmap checks, and derivatives with respect to both input matrices. It includes a 45-minute teaching outline; no workshop delivery is claimed yet.
I also published a Russian-language Fisher LDA article and runnable example. I use generalized eigh for dimensionality reduction, compare PCA and LDA on synthetic data, and check gradients through regularization and feature scaling against independent SciPy finite differences.
The English version and Russian 45-minute workshop worksheet are now public. The CPU lab was rerun on 3 October 2026, and its repository CI passes. These are prepared teaching materials; I have not yet delivered the workshop or measured external adoption.
52 merged PRs across 36 upstream projects, verified on 3 October 2026. This excludes my own repositories. I contribute APIs, product fixes, packaging, CI, cross-platform behavior, regression tests, and documentation; merge counts do not by themselves measure downstream or community impact.
The project table and charts below are an older 43-PR snapshot, not current star counts or a complete list of the 52 merges. The JAX section above records the newer numerical contributions; Google pprof #1034 was also merged on 3 October. The linked GitHub query shows the current merged contributions.
