Description
This pull request upgrades some of the Node engine values to 22 for nested package.json files that were missed and upgrades dependencies to match the new Node 22 version of the core, generated and handwritten packages.
here is the script that was used to upgrade the dependencies.
Note for the generator that the package-lock.json file and pnpm.lock file were changed as well to get the baseline tests to pass. Also, most of the files changed in this pull request are to baseline files.
This pull request now ignores the packages/** directory. We will address changes in that directory in a separate pull request.
An additional update to the package.json file is applied for a few handwritten libraries to upgrade mocha to resolve a test failure with yargs.
A Bigtable test for fetching the client side metrics version is skipped. Some pubsub tests don't have a reference to the LogSeverity object anymore so the tests compare against strings instead.
