Update (2026-10-06): customers now book and pay only on MAQAMI's website. The server returns a checkoutUrl on book.maqami.co from post_rates_prebook (hotels) and post_flights_verify (flights), and no tool takes payment. The entry in this PR has been updated to match.

Adds an integration page for MAQAMI Travel, a hosted MCP server for hotel and flight search and booking.

  • New: integrations/maqami-travel.md (type: Tool Integration, mcp: true)
  • New: logos/maqami.png
  • No new package. The page uses the existing mcp-haystack MCPToolset with StreamableHttpServerInfo against https://mcp.maqami.co/ (Streamable HTTP, no API key).
  • The example filters the toolset with tool_names to the search, details, prebook and book tools. It puts the prebook and book tools behind a ConfirmationHook with AlwaysAskPolicy, because those steps hold or create real reservations.

How I checked it: both snippets run with haystack-ai 3.3.0 and mcp-haystack 1.5.1 against a local Streamable HTTP MCP server that serves the production tool definitions but returns fake results. That covers the connection, the tool_names filter (the model sees only the listed tools), a post_hotels_rates call, and the confirmation prompt on post_rates_prebook. Rejecting the prebook at the prompt stops the tool call. I used the local server so the check makes no real bookings.

Disclosure: I'm the CEO of MAQAMI LLC and maintain the server repository (https://github.com/negm17111995/mcp-server).
