Tea, story and wonder: a family art studio.
We're the Morels, a family in Woodinville, WA, and at heart we're an art company. Together we made the world of Beyond, the Isles of Mycorzha and the critters and characters who live there, inspired by our family values and the adventures we've shared. That world turns up in everything we make: stories, art, games and tea.
- Jordan ("Moss"): frontend UX engineer with 14+ years in the industry. Also blends and packs the tea and makes the graphics.
- Lee: full-stack engineer and software architect with 2 years in, building the systems the studio runs on. Also handles logistics, tea blending and world-building.
- Melisande ("Mel"): QC developer with 14+ years of experience, running the testing workflows that keep our software stable for the long haul. Also the storyteller who ties it all together.

Morelitea is our tea: hand-blended loose-leaf teas inspired by the Isles of Mycorzha. Each month the Beyonders Club introduces a new character with a tea blended just for them, plus an original fairy tale and collectible art.
Mycorzha Map is an interactive atlas and creature compendium for the fungal realms of Mycorzha. It runs in the browser or as a desktop app.
Initiative is how we run Beyonders Studio. It's a self-hosted shared workspace where tasks, documents, calendars, dashboards and more live in one place, and everyone edits them together, live. We built it for ourselves and made it open source, so any team or community can run it too.
