This fork of `anthropics/skills` had no automation — staying in sync required manual git work, and there was no visibility into what changed or broke when histories diverged. ## What's added ### `.github/workflows/sync-upstream.yml` Daily cron (06:00 UTC) + `workflow_dispatch` with a `dry_run` toggle. | Scenario | Action | |---|---| | Already in sync | Exit cleanly | | Upstream-only new commits | Fast-forward merge directly to `main` | | Diverged histories | Open a labeled PR with full diff context | | Merge conflicts in diverged PR | Stage conflict markers, list conflicting files, apply `conflicts` label | PR body includes a summary table, incoming commit log (up to 50), changed-files list with status emoji (➕ ✏️ ➖ 🔀), and — when conflicts exist — a per-file list with step-by-step resolve instructions. Deduplicates: skips opening a new PR if one is already open. ### `.github/workflows/label-pr.yml` + `.github/labeler.yml` Auto-labels every PR via `actions/labeler@v5` based on changed paths: `skills`, `spec`, `template`, `documentation`, `github-actions`. ### `.github/labels.yml` Label definitions (name, color, description) for all labels used by the automations, including the new `conflicts` label (red) applied to sync PRs with unresolved conflicts. ### `.github/CODEOWNERS` Auto-requests `@d33disc` as reviewer on all PRs. <!-- START COPILOT CODING AGENT TIPS --> --- 📍 Connect Copilot coding agent with [Jira](https://gh.io/cca-jira-docs), [Azure Boards](https://gh.io/cca-azure-boards-docs) or [Linear](https://gh.io/cca-linear-docs) to delegate work to Copilot in one click without leaving your project management tool.

…kills spec validation (#1) - [x] Create `pyproject.toml` with ruff and mypy configuration - [x] Create `.github/workflows/lint-typecheck.yml` — daily auto-fix workflow (Python + Markdown) - [x] Create `.markdownlint.json` — MD013.tables: false - [x] Create `.github/workflows/validate-skills.yml` — Agent Skills spec validation - [x] **Fix critical mdformat bug**: `mdformat .` was destroying YAML frontmatter in all SKILL.md files — now scoped with `find . -name "*.md" ! -name "SKILL.md"` so SKILL.md files are never touched by mdformat - [x] **Pin all tool versions**: `ruff==0.15.6`, `mypy==1.19.1`, `mdformat==0.7.22`, `mdformat-tables==1.0.0`, `[email protected]` — reproducible builds - [x] **Create `.markdownlintignore`**: excludes `THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md` (auto-generated licence text with 130+ false-positive violations); both auto-fix and report-only markdownlint steps pass `--ignore-path .markdownlintignore` - [x] **Add pip caching**: `cache: pip` on setup-python — avoids re-downloading tools on every daily run - [x] **Expand validate-skills path trigger**: now also fires when `scripts/**`, `references/**`, or `assets/**` change — catches broken file references after a rename/delete <!-- START COPILOT CODING AGENT TIPS --> --- 🔒 GitHub Advanced Security automatically protects Copilot coding agent pull requests. … add ignore paths, expand triggers Co-authored-by: d33disc <[email protected]>
…rmat scope, wire up ignore paths (#8) PR #1 merged with 6 unresolved review comments where the implementation didn't match the stated intent. This PR fixes all of them. ### `lint-typecheck.yml` - **Pin tool versions** for reproducible builds: `ruff==0.15.6`, `mypy==1.19.1`, `mdformat==0.7.22`, `mdformat-tables==1.0.0`, `[email protected]` - **Add `cache: pip`** to `setup-python` step - **Fix mdformat destroying YAML frontmatter** in SKILL.md files — `mdformat .` replaced with: ```bash find . -name "*.md" ! -name "SKILL.md" -print0 | xargs -0 mdformat ``` - **Wire up `.markdownlintignore`** — add `--ignore-path .markdownlintignore` to both the auto-fix and report-only markdownlint steps ### `validate-skills.yml` - **Expand path triggers** to also fire on `scripts/**`, `references/**`, `assets/**` changes (catches broken file references after renames/deletes) <!-- START COPILOT CODING AGENT TIPS --> --- 💡 You can make Copilot smarter by setting up custom instructions, customizing its development environment and configuring Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
