Add option to disable prompt suggestions in Claude.ai web/app interface #66117

Problem Statement

The web and app chat interface shows a suggested starter prompt on the new-chat screen (e.g. "Hey Claude—I just added the [skill-name] skill. Can you make something amazing with it?"), which latches onto the most recently added skill.

Claude Code has configuration for this (CLAUDE_CODE_ENABLE_PROMPT_SUGGESTION=false and a /config toggle), but there's no equivalent in the Claude.ai web/app interface — no settings toggle, env var, or config file to suppress it.

Proposed Solution

Add a user-facing setting in Claude.ai web/app to disable suggested prompts so new chats open with a blank input.

Alternative Solutions

Remove this feature, it is distracting and only annoys people who read it, consider if it is relevant realizing it is the same prompt time after time
