opencode-go/muse-spark-1.2-contributor hangs indefinitely — no response, no error #45053

Description

@ax7d

Summary

opencode-go/muse-spark-1.2-contributor accepts requests but hangs forever — no streamed output, no error, no completion. Other models on the same opencode-go subscription respond instantly, so auth and subscription are healthy. Looks like a server-side serving problem for this specific model.

Reproduction

$ opencode run -m opencode-go/muse-spark-1.2-contributor "hi"
# prints build banner "> build · muse-spark-1.2-contributor"> build · muse-spark-1.2-contributor" then hangs
# ...no output after 150s and again 120s (two separate attempts)
# process must be killed manually

Evidence this is model-specific, not client/auth

Test Result
opencode run -m opencode-go/muse-spark-1.2-contributor "hi" ❌ hangs >150s, zero bytes, no error
opencode run -m opencode-go/deepseek-v4-flash "hi" ✅ responds in ~5s
opencode auth list ✅ Zen + Go credentials present
opencode models ✅ model still listed in catalog
Same model via another provider (meta/muse-spark-1.2-contributor on commandcode.ai) ✅ responds normally

Environment

  • opencode version: 1.18.13
  • OS: macOS (Apple Silicon, arm64)
  • Subscription: OpenCode Go (paid)
  • Date observed: 2026-08-25

Expected

A normal streamed response or a clean error (429/5xx/model unavailable) so clients can fall back.

Actual

Silent indefinite hang after the build banner — upstream request never completes and never errors out.
