Summary

Adds the empty-but-buildable @uipath/apollo-react/chat subpath, wired like ./canvas, so the chat service move and the Wind renderer can land into it (epic MST-16172, story MST-16174). No change to ./ap-chat.

  • Exports: ./chat and ./chat/styles/*.css; dist/chat/index.* added to sideEffects.
  • CSS: src/chat/styles/tailwind.chat.css and a build:css:chat step chained into build.
  • Storybook: stories entry with the "Apollo React/Chat" prefix, source aliases for @uipath/apollo-react/chat and chat/* (the existing alias did not cover it), and the chat CSS imported in preview.tsx.
  • MUI boundary: Biome noRestrictedImports for src/chat/** rejects @mui/**, @emotion/**, relative ../material imports and @uipath/apollo-react/material*.
  • README in src/chat describing the layout and the import rules.

Notes for reviewers

  • No rslib.config.ts change: the build is bundleless over ./src/**, so src/chat is picked up already.
  • Storybook logs "No story files found" for src/chat until stories exist. It is a warning.
  • tailwind.chat.css is 292 KB, the same as the canvas CSS, because both carry the full apollo-wind base.
  • The locale-registry chat key lands with the locale move in the next PR, so only one PR edits locale-registry.ts.

Verification

  • pnpm build emits dist/chat/index.{js,cjs,d.ts} and dist/chat/styles/tailwind.chat.css
  • A probe file under src/chat gets one lint error each for @mui/*, @emotion/*, ../material, ../material/... and @uipath/apollo-react/material*; @uipath/apollo-wind and react imports pass
  • Storybook resolves @uipath/apollo-react/chat and its CSS to source
