This PR fixes shell UI spacing and link highlighting issues, adds task duration to background notifications, and updates the changelog with unreleased entries.
1. Shell UI spacing and link highlighting fixes
Problem: The shell UI had inconsistent spacing and broken link highlighting in certain rendering paths.
What was done:
