MonitorControl is showing old apple style brightness menu #1904

Describe the bug

When adjusting the brightness using the keyboard shortcut, MonitorControl displays the old-style brightness indicator/menu instead of the new one.

Steps to reproduce

1. Use the keyboard brightness keys to increase or decrease the brightness.

Actual behavior

The old brightness menu style is displayed.

Expected behavior

The brightness menu should use the new menu style.
