NexusCLI is no longer an active end-user product.
The repository is kept as a study, prototype, and reference project for ideas explored during the development of a lightweight AI cockpit for terminal and web workflows.
Its original goal was to orchestrate multiple AI runtimes such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, and Qwen Code from a unified interface.
That direction is now deprecated as a standalone product.
The practical evolution of this work has moved into MasiX, which is now the main project where:
- UI development continues
- reusable orchestration logic is consolidated
- runtime patterns are refined
- stable features are implemented and maintained
Status: Study / Archive / Reference
NexusCLI remains available to document:
- architectural experiments
- runtime-aware orchestration concepts
- early UI and workflow ideas
- lessons learned before consolidation into MasiX
This repository should be considered a historical and technical reference, not the main supported application.
The following areas are now part of the MasiX direction:
- application logic
- runtime and provider handling
- interface and UX work
- workflow design
- feature evolution and maintenance
NexusCLI is retained only to preserve context and experimentation history.
NexusCLI explored ideas such as:
- multi-engine orchestration
- runtime-aware model selection
- terminal + web control surfaces
- local-first workflows
- Linux, macOS, and Termux compatibility
- npm-first distribution
These ideas remain useful as design references, but active implementation belongs to MasiX.
Use this repository only for:
- studying past architecture decisions
- reviewing prototype patterns
- extracting concepts that may be reused elsewhere
- preserving the evolution path toward MasiX
Do not treat NexusCLI as the primary product roadmap.
There is no guarantee of:
- feature completeness
- production readiness
- active parity with newer workflows
- long-term standalone maintenance
For active development, refer to MasiX.
Any documentation kept here should be read as:
- prototype notes
- architectural references
- migration context
- experimental material
It may describe ideas that were later changed, simplified, or fully moved into MasiX.
