What is your opinion on KPOP? I think its ok, not the best, I like some songs.

I don’t listen to much mainstream K-Pop but I love Korean hyperpop

i listen to it when it comes on, but i only have a couple kpop songs actually on my playlists. i love it tho i need to try listening to some more!

i love it! of course, not all of it, though. i don’t really like some pretty well known groups, like ATEEZ, NCT, or ZEROBASEONE, and there’s some groups i like a few songs by (but not enough to stan them) like BLACKPINK and BTS, and some groups i really love. i don’t listen to any 1st-2nd gen, and barely any 3rd gen k-pop. but honestly, it all depends on how you currently view things and then trying new things and experimenting :)

K-Pop is the remedy for too many as it different, and vibrant than other music industries, It has everything what a music person wants, visuals, dance, expensive budget videos, lyrics, concepts, themes, stories, 360 degree of music!!! The fans connection with their artist is deep rooted that what it thrives internationally, when I met K-POP first time, and saw the craze in people, it astonished me how a person can have a deep affection for an artist? As the time passed, I got to now why it is too much special, It fills a void, and take a place in your daily life as it has been a part of life for aeons.

I do love some K-pop songs like it’s on repeat on Spotify. But, in 2026, I don’t think it’s really good now and it looks like a generic music to me.

I tried to check it out some K-pop songs but still the same. There’s no creativity on the melody and the lyrics.

After further conclusions of listening to Kpop, it’s is alright but since I’m a rap fan, it’s not sk good
